Twitter outage reported by users; website and mobile apps affected
Twitter users are reporting having trouble accessing the microblogging social network.
Users are reporting that they have been logged out of their account. When users attempt to log back in, they are either unsuccessful or they are met with a page that says “Something is technically wrong.” Others have said they’ve been met with a page that says the social network is down for maintenance.
The issue appears to be affecting both the mobile and Web versions of Twitter. The outage appears to have occurred around 10:50 a.m. PDT.

Twitter said it was looking into the issue.
[Updated 11:46 a.m. PDT March 11: “Most users are experiencing issues accessing Twitter on web and mobile apps,” Twitter said in a post on its status website.]
[Updated 12:22 p.m. PDT March 11: Twitter said the issues were caused by “unexpected complications” during a planned rollout of a change to the social network.
“We rolled back the change as soon as we identified the issue and began a controlled recovery to ensure stability of other parts of the service,” Twitter said in a statement. “The site was fully recovered by 11:47am PDT. We apologize for the inconvenience.”]
