Samsung to announce Galaxy S IV on March 14, reports say
Samsung will announce its next flagship smartphone, believed to be called the Galaxy S IV, on March 14, multiple reports on the Web say.
The reports hit the Web Monday after Eldar Murtazin, the editor of Russian tech site Mobile-Review.com, posted a tweet teasing he knew something the rest of us didn’t.
“Save the date for a big announcement - March 14 :)” the tweet said.

Then SamMobile.com, a news site that writes about Samsung rumors, released a report backing Murtazin’s claim. The SamMobile.com report said Samsung will announce the phone that day at an event in New York.
Then, The Verge, another tech news site, said it had also independently confirmed the announcement date, citing “sources familiar with Samsung’s plans.”
The Verge also says the event will be in the U.S., and it adds that it’s unclear if Samsung will confirm which networks will carry the phone at the announcement event.
We’ve reached out to Samsung for comment. No answer, so far.
