With a bit of code, you can make any website do the Harlem Shake

By now, you’ve likely seen hundreds if not thousands of people do the Harlem Shake -- popularized on YouTube and elsewhere online -- but have you ever seen a website do it?

A new trick has been posted on the Web that makes it possible for users to make their favorite websites do their own version of the popular meme.

All that’s needed is the Google Chrome browser and a bit of Javascript code. From there, it’s easy.

Users simply head to the website they want, right click anywhere on the screen and select “Inspect elements.” The next step is to click “Console,” and in the text field that comes up, they paste text found on this site.

Once that’s done, they can press enter and enjoy the show.

A small part of the website will start to wiggle around as though it’s dancing just as the “Harlem Shake” song by Baauer starts to play. Then after about 15 seconds, in true Harlem Shake fashion, the song’s bass will drop and more parts of the website will start to wiggle and dance.

It may be a silly trick, but it’s good for a quick chuckle.
