What do Pope Francis, the royal baby and Miley Cyrus all have in common? They each made it into Facebook’s “Most Talked About in 2013” list.

To celebrate the end of 2013, Facebook released a number of end-of-year lists on Monday. The lists include the most-talked-about topics, the U.S.’s most talked about topics and the most-checked-in places in 2013, among others.

At the top of the “Most Talked About in 2013” was Pope Francis, who was elected as the new leader of the Catholic Church in March. Since being chosen, Pope Francis has continued to make headlines. Most recently, it was reported that Pope Francis has a costume he uses when he sneaks out of the Vatican at night to help the poor.

Second on the list was the topic of “Election.” Facebook explains that the word “election” appeared throughout the year in many languages due to several important elections that happened around the world.

“With high-profile national elections in countries like India, Kenya, Iran and Italy this year, it’s not a surprise to see it near the top of our list,” the company said in a statement.

The rest of the list includes the royal baby, Typhoon Haiyan, Margaret Thatcher, the Harlem Shake, Miley Cyrus, the Boston Marathon, the Tour de France and Nelson Mandela, who faced health issues throughout the year and passed away last week.

In the U.S., the most-talked-about topics line up pretty similarly but with a few differences. In order from one to 10, the topics were the Super Bowl, the government shutdown, the Boston Marathon, the Syria crisis, the Harlem Shake, Pope Francis, George Zimmerman, the royal baby, Nelson Mandela and the presidential inauguration.

As for the most checked in places, Facebook’s top 10 list included Disneyland in Anaheim, New York’s Times Square, Disney’s Epcot park in Florida, Dodger Stadium, AT&T Park, Rangers Ballpark in Texas, Universal Studios Hollywood, Fenway Park, MGM Grand Hotel & Casino, and quite surprisingly, the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo.
