Apple live streaming possible iPad mini announcement now
Apple is commencing its live stream for the company’s event today in San Jose.
The Cupertino-based company is widely expected to announce the iPad mini, a smaller version of its 9.7-inch iPad. The tech giant is broadcasting the event from its website as well as on Apple TV devices.
The iPad mini, or perhaps the iPad air, is expected to have a 7.85-inch screen. It is also likely to be lighter, thinner and less expensive than its larger counterpart.

Besides the iPad mini, Apple is also expected to announce a handful of new computers. They are a 13-inch MacBook Pro with Retina, an updated Mac mini computer as well as an updated iMac desktop.
Additionally, Apple may announce a new version of the third-generation iPad. Apple isn’t expected to change much besides replacing the 9.7-inch iPad’s dock connector with the new Lightning connector.
Besides new machines, Apple is also expected to announce new accessories, including new Lightning cables and cases for the iPad mini.
