Robin Strasser of ‘One Life to Live’ parts ways with Thousand Oaks home
Actress Robin Strasser, known for her run as Dorian Lord on the soap opera “One Life to Live,” has sold her home in the Thousand Oaks area for $1.05 million.
Found within a gated Newbury Park community, the two-story home features vaulted ceilings, hardwood floors and a step-down living room that opens to the dining room. A family room with a fireplace, an eat-in kitchen and a media room/den are also within nearly 3,000 square feet of interior space.
The four bedrooms and three bathrooms include a master suite with a sitting area and a large picture window that overlooks the grounds.
Outdoors, a flagstone patio surrounds a saltwater swimming pool with a spa and a rock waterfall. A fire pit, drought-tolerant landscaping and mature trees complete the nearly half-acre setting.
Views take in the surrounding mountains and greenbelt.
Strasser bought the house last year for $975,000, records show. In August, the median price for single-family homes in the Newbury Park area was $735,000 based on 52 sales, according to CoreLogic.
G.R. Arnold of First American Real Estate was the listing agent. Maria Powell of Aviara Real Estate represented the buyer.
The 71-year-old Strasser has scores of television credits including appearances on “Knots Landing,” “Coach” and “All My Children.” She won a Daytime Emmy for her role on “One Life to Live.”
