‘Drive’ director Nicolas Winding Refn finds a new spot to park in Silver Lake
Danish filmmaker Nicolas Winding Refn has a stylish new spot in Silver Lake.
The director of “Bronson” and “Drive” paid $3.075 million for the contemporary estate, which offers four bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms in 3,276 square feet.
A sleek black-and-white exterior gives way to indoor living spaces filled with floor-to-ceiling windows.
Clean lines and high ceilings are common throughout the interior. Highlights include a living room with a fireplace, a two-story kitchen and an indoor-outdoor lounge.
Pocket doors lead outside, where a covered patio overlooks an infinity pool and spa. A pair of outdoor balconies take in city and mountain views from above.
Adam Pergament of Keller Williams Larchmont is the listing agent. Ninkey Dalton of the Agency represented Refn.
The 47-year-old filmmaker has directed a steady stream of crime and drama films since his debut with the 1996 movie “Pusher.” His other films include “Valhalla Rising” (2009) and “Only God Forgives” (2013), both of which he wrote and directed.
