Dolphins tight end Jordan Cameron buys a party-ready pad in Westlake Village

Jordan Cameron is moving up and down the field this week as the Miami Dolphins begin their mandatory minicamp, but earlier this year the local football product was making another sort of move, buying a home in Westlake Village for $2.05 million.

The multilevel Traditional, built in 1971, is designed for entertaining. French and bifold doors open to a patio with a dining area and a fire pit with built-in seating. A covered pavilion with a stone fireplace, an outdoor kitchen, bar seating and streams of market lights are among the party-ready features.

A swimming pool is outfitted with a waterfall features, custom lighting and a spa. Elsewhere on the grounds is a lighted basketball half-court.

Inside, more than 3,500 square feet of space includes a formal dining room, a living room with a brick fireplace, an eat-in kitchen and a game room. A total of five bedrooms and four bathrooms includes a master suite with a glass-enclosed shower.

The house came on the market earlier this year for $2.099 million.

Tim and Kevin Fitzgerald of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices California Realty were the listing agents. Emily Monroy, also with Berkshire Hathaway and Cameron’s older sister, represented him in the sale.

Cameron, 27, has ties to Southern California having been a two-sport athlete at USC and, before that, at Newbury Park High School.

The tight end started all 16 games for the Dolphins last year, his first with the team. He earned a Pro Bowl nod in 2013 as a member of the Cleveland Browns.
