‘Entourage’ creator Doug Ellin directs a price chop in Beverly Hills
He’s taking $1 million off the top.
Doug Ellin, the creator of HBO’s “Entourage,” has relisted his Beverly Hills mansion for $8.995 million after failing to find a buyer for $9.995 million when it first listed in the fall.
Not to worry. The two-story home cost him $5.93 million in 2008, according to public records, so there’s still plenty of profit margin.
Set behind hedges and gates, the traditional-style home sits on nearly a third of an acre with a horseshoe-shaped driveway and a swimming pool.
The 5,780 square feet of living space are entered through a formal, two-story foyer. Features include vaulted ceilings, dark hardwood floors and a step-down rotunda bar that opens to the backyard.
The six bedrooms and seven bathrooms include a master suite with a fireplace, a walk-in closet and a steam shower.
Ellin, 49, created, wrote for and produced “Entourage,” which ran from 2004 to 2011. He also directed and wrote the screenplay for the 2015 “Entourage” movie.
