Companion Arrested in Stabbing, Biting of Man
From Times Staff Reports
Police arrested a 34-year-old woman on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon Sunday for allegedly stabbing and biting a dinner companion outside a Denny’s restaurant.
Sharonda Yvette Scott of Port Hueneme was arrested about 3:30 a.m. after police interviewed the 24-year-old victim, who asked not to be identified, and his friends.
Police said Scott and the victim had a verbal confrontation while eating, a fight that continued after they left the restaurant. Scott allegedly bit the man and stabbed him with a knife in his left arm before fleeing.
