Jewelry designer Robert Lee Morris says he’s fascinated by personal grooming rituals, so calling his Elizabeth Arden cosmetics line “Rituals of Color” is no surprise. The first two pieces reflect his past work: modern designs imbued with spiritual, universal symbols. Morris created his signature shape for the powder compact ($75, refills $10) in 1976. “Taking two discs, I noticed they sandwiched as a clam.” The lipstick case ($30, refills $9.50) also suggests a shell. Morris promises more items for beauty and bath next spring.
