The camera just loves Carmel
No one writes about Carmel like Chris Reynolds [“Suitable for Framing,” April 15]. What a beautiful piece, text and photos and nuggets of info only people who care would take the time to discover.
I phoned my friend Sue McCloud, Carmel’s mayor, to tell her to call Carmel Drug and be sure they have a copy of the Travel section intact.

Thanks for a wonderful and comprehensive travel article on the Weston family legacy and Point Lobos.
This should get more of the small, digital camera folks to look at those inspiring black and whites too.
I was in a group seeing the Weston house a few years ago. Quite amazing. I appreciate your “bibliography” — the websites listed.

Skywalk’s price: They can’t look
My family and I recently returned from the Grand Canyon. I wish we had read “Hey, Sin City — Top This” [March 11] and found out the cost wasn’t $25 per person. We arrived at the Grand Canyon West airport to find that you have to pay for a package (minimum $49.95) and $25 on top of that to walk on the Skywalk. Without paying for a package you are not allowed to even view the Skywalk.
Even the cheapest package was too much money for a family of five, so we left, disappointed.
