Your Scene: The jump of the penguin in Antarctica
In deep Antarctica in January, Cliff Getz, 83, of Laguna Beach got the picture of his life -- this “silly, little, gorgeous” penguin, as he calls it. He tells the story: “I saw that he was considering jumping, and the crowd behind me, as well as myself, were yelling, ‘Jump, jump, jump,’ and when he finally jumped, I caught this great picture.” He used a Nikon D2X.
