Deal: Save $1,000 on a December river cruise from Cambodia to Vietnam
Spend eight days on a river cruise from Cambodia to Vietnam starting at $2,099 per person, a savings of $1,000 off the usual price. The trip leaves in late December, which means celebrating New Year’s Eve on the boat.
The deal: Montana-based Adventure Life discounts only the Dec. 28 sailing for this trip, and the $2,099 price is based on double occupancy.
The cruise begins at Tonle Sap Lake in Cambodia, aboard the small ship MS Amalotus, and stops at villages; the former capital of Cambodia, Oudong; and its modern-day capital, Phnom Penh.
From there, it’s on to the Mekong River and a border crossing into Vietnam, ending in that country’s capital, Ho Chi Minh City.
When: The discount is good for a Dec. 28 departure, subject to availability.
Details: The deal saves $2,000 for two -- a good deal if you’ve been thinking about exploring these two countries. Note the cost of the trip excludes international airfare, airfare from Hanoi to Siem Reap ($360) and port charges ($161).
