AmaWaterways’ new river cruise ships up the options for families
AmaWaterways’ newest river cruise ship has been designed with families in mind.
AmaStella made its debut last week on a maiden voyage from Amsterdam to Budapest, Hungary.
The ship carries 158 passengers and features a dozen staterooms big enough for up to three family members, and cabins that can be connected to accommodate a family or group of five.

The ship also includes suites that can house four with fold-out sofa beds.
The new stateroom configurations were designed for group and multi-generational travelers, a company statement said.
Same prices: Cabins on the AmaStella start at $2,499 per person for a seven-night Tulip Time Cruise, which begins and ends in Amsterdam.
The Calabasas-based line also will roll out its sister ship, AmaViola, this spring with the same cabin options and configurations.
