Upscale Hyde Lounge adds to the glitz of the coming Las Vegas arena
The new Las Vegas arena doesn’t have a name yet, but its signature nightclub does -- and it is a name familiar to many Southlanders: Hyde.
SBE, an L.A.-based hospitality provider, will open the upscale Hyde Lounge when the new arena launches in April. The company already operates a nightclub bearing the same name at the Staples Center.
The Vegas club — to be located high above the arena action and removed from the crowds — will allow guests to enjoy concerts, sporting events and other activities in plush surroundings. Two platforms will extend out from Hyde Lounge, allowing distinctive viewing opportunities.
The club, to be accessed by a VIP elevator, will offer bottle service, food and DJs, along with views of the Las Vegas Strip.
Many Vegas visitors are already familiar with the brand. Hyde Bellagio is a popular nightlife spot at the Bellagio Las Vegas.
The 20,000-seat arena is expected to host more than 100 events a year, including boxing and UFC matches plus headliner concerts.
The Killers, Shamir and Wayne Newton will entertain on opening night April 6. Tickets start at $35.
