Staley has taken it upon himself to clean the hallways since janitorial service rarely happens these days. "This is our home," said Diane Zendezas, 74, who has been in the building since 2010. "We just want to get rid of the filth." Tenants say the Produce Hotel for 18 years, said the situation is reverting to how it was before the city put the trust properties into receivership 18 months ago in Skid Row in Los Angeles on October 30, 2024. The new owner, Leo Pustilnikov , has reduced security and janitorial services. Tenants say the buildings immediately deteriorated after he took over. New owner cuts security, janitors at Skid Row homeless housing as tenants fear worsening conditions

Tenants at Skid Row properties owned by a Beverly Hills developer said recent cuts in security and janitorial services has led to renewed filth and safety concerns in the buildings.
