USC guard Shaqquan Aaron named Pac-12’s player of the week
USC guard Shaqquan Aaron had the best game of his career in an upset win over UCLA last Wednesday. It was also the best performance of all the Pac-12 Conference performances last week.
Pac-12 media members named Aaron the Pac-12 player of the week on Monday.
Coming off the bench, Aaron scored a game-high (and career-high) 23 points in 26 minutes in USC’s 84-76 win over UCLA. It snapped a prolonged shooting drought, when Aaron made just 29% of his field goals in the first eight conference games.
Aaron became the second USC team member to win the award. Point guard Jordan McLaughlin won it in late December.
