Ryan Braun fallout: Brewers to give fans at August home games $10
The Milwaukee Brewers, trying to appease fans in the wake of the Ryan Braun suspension, announced on Monday that they will give a $10 voucher to every fan who goes to a Brewers home game in August.
The Brewers are calling it the “Fans Eat Free” promotion.
“This has been a challenging season for all of us, but the one thing that has never wavered has been the tremendous support we have received from fans who love the Brewers,” Brewers owner Mark Attanasio said. “We wanted to do something meaningful to show our appreciation, and we will strive to provide the best fan experience possible.”
Fans at home games in August will receive a $10 voucher good for food and merchandise. The Brewers expect to spend $3.6 million on the promotion.
