Ray Lewis injury: Can the Ravens still win the Super Bowl? [Poll]

Ray Lewis’ season is over -- is the same true for the Baltimore Ravens?

Everything seemed to be lining up so well for the Ravens. They are 5-1, already have a two-game lead in the AFC North and are one of just two teams in the conference with a winning record.

But just when it was starting to look like the Ravens might have a shot at returning to the Super Bowl for the first time since winning it all in 2000 (Lewis was the MVP of that game), the news came Monday that their star linebacker’s season was over when he tore his right triceps during Sunday’s 31-29 victory over Dallas.

Not only is Lewis the Ravens’ leading tackler, he is also considered by many to be the heart and soul of the team, having spent all 17 years of his pro career with Baltimore.

In addition, the Ravens lost cornerback Lardarius Webb for the season with a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee during the same game.

Those are some potentially devastating blows to a team with such high hopes. So how far do you think the Ravens will go now? Vote in the poll, then leave a comment explaining why you voted the way you did.
