First fine of the day? Could be going to Ndamukong Suh, the controversial Detroit defensive tackle, whose low block on an interception return wiped out a Lions’ pick-six.

Early in the second quarter against Minnesota, Christian Ponder’s pass for Jerome Simpson on a quick slant was deflected. The ball was picked off by DeAndre Levy and returned 34 yards for an apparent touchdown.

But the score was wiped out by a flag on Suh, who dived at the knees of Vikings lineman John Sullivan. Suh was called for a personal foul.

That moved the Lions back, and Matthew Stafford’s ensuing floating pass over the middle was intercepted.
