Gymnast Alicia Sacramone and quarterback Brady Quinn tie the knot
Brady Quinn is set to become an NFL free agent yet again Tuesday afternoon.
Off the football field, however, Quinn is set for life.
He and his longtime girlfriend, former Olympic gymnast Alicia Sacramone, were married over the weekend.
The couple had been dating since 2007.
After a standout career at Notre Dame, Quinn was drafted 22nd overall by the Cleveland Browns in 2007. He went 3-9 as a starter in his three years with the Browns before being traded to Denver.
He didn’t get any playing time during his two years with the Broncos, backing up Kyle Orton and Tim Tebow.
Quinn then signed with Kansas City, where he went 1-7 as a starter in 2012, then with Seattle, where he was cut just before the start of the 2013 season. He was signed and cut twice by the New York Jets this past season before landing with St. Louis as backup for the rest of the year.
Sacramone, who has changed her last name to Quinn on Twitter, won a silver medal with the U.S. Olympic team during the 2008 Beijing Games. She has earned 10 world gymnastics medals.
