Robert Sacre scores 22 for D-Fenders
Robert Sacre scored 22 points on Saturday night for the D-Fenders, playing in his first game since the Lakers reassigned him to the D-League.
Despite the strong game from the rookie center, the D-Fenders dropped their third-straight (104-92), losing to the Sioux Falls Skyforce.
Sacre hit on 10 of 17 from the field and collected five rebounds. Fellow Laker Darius Johnson-Odom had 15 points, four rebounds and five assists.
This was Sacre’s fourth game of the year for the D-Fenders, averaging 11.3 points and 8.5 rebounds a night.
Sacre hasn’t had much of a chance to play this season for the Lakers, making 13 appearances for a total of 55 minutes. On the year he has twice as many fouls (14) as points (seven).
Johnson-Odom has put up an average 20.6 points for the D-Fenders through a dozen games.
