Lakers waive rookie forward Elias Harris
The Lakers waived rookie forward Elias Harris on Friday.
Harris, undrafted out of Gonzaga, was a standout on the Lakers’ summer league squad in Las Vegas.
In two appearances this season, playing a total of 11 minutes, Harris did not score.
Only about a quarter of Harris’ contract was guaranteed ($100,000).
The Lakers’ roster now stands at 14 strong.
Shawne Williams, Xavier Henry and Ryan Kelly are the only remaining Lakers without guaranteed deals. Their contracts become fully guaranteed if they’re still on the roster as of Jan. 10.
