Jon Hamm, star of “Mad Men” on AMC, skewered Dwight Howard during his opening monologue while hosting “The ESPYs” on Wednesday.

“Dwight Howard recently announced he was leaving the Lakers to play for the Houston Rockets,” said Hamm. “He’s leaving L.A.; I guess it looks like he finally found a way to help the Lakers win.”

Hamm then introduced a video montage to honor the departing center.

“We thought it would be nice to honor Dwight Howard by taking a look at his greatest moments as a Laker,” said Hamm.

Tina Turner’s “Simply the Best” song starts to play as the camera turns to the video screen center stage — but Turner’s song is cut off before she finishes the word “best.”

As in there were no great moments.

Howard and the Lakers won 45 games last season before bowing out of an injury-plagued year with a four-game, first-round sweep by the San Antonio Spurs.

After one year with the Lakers, he signed a four-year deal with the Rockets as a free agent.
