Rehabbing in Spain, Pau Gasol watches Spanish national team victory
Lakers forward/Center Pau Gasol is currently in Madrid with the Spanish national team.
Gasol, currently recovering from procedures to heal tendonosis in both knees, watched his squad defeat France at the Palacio de los Deportes on Friday, 85-76, in a tune-up game before the EuroBasket 2013 tournament in September.

Point guard Sergio Rodriguez, who played for the Portland Trail Blazers, Sacramento Kings and New York Knicks, scored 12 points. Memphis Grizzlies All-Star Marc Gasol (and Pau’s brother) scored 12.
Nicolas Batum of the Trail Blazers was the game’s leading scorer with 17 points in defeat.
Gasol is slowly working his way back to playing shape, with Friday and Saturday updates on his progress.
