Lakers are home from China, expected to resume practice Sunday
The Lakers are expected to resume practice Sunday morning after a lengthy visit to China.
The team lost a pair of exhibition games to the Golden State Warriors in Beijing and Shanghai, before returning home Friday.
Confusing matters, the team had to travel through time to get home.
“They land at 10 p.m. Friday, three hours before their 1 a.m. Saturday departure from China, a 12-hour flight and a 15-hour time change adding up to a reversal in time,” as reported by The Times on Thursday.
Before the Lakers left, they took a team picture in Shanghai.

The Lakers have won just two of six preseason games. They’ll play the Utah Jazz twice this week — on Tuesday at Staples Center and Friday in Anaheim.
So far the Lakers have five players averaging double figures, led by Pau Gasol (14.2 points a game), Nick Young (13.3), Xavier Henry (12.3), Chris Kaman (11.2) and Jordan Farmar (10.5).
The regular season starts Oct. 29 at home against the Clippers.
