USC Coach Lane Kiffin released an end-of-spring depth chart Monday that featured no major surprises but several curious listings.

As expected, third-year sophomores Max Wittek and Cody Kessler, and freshman Max Browne were listed as co-starters at quarterback. An official decision about who will be Matt Barkley’s successor will not come until training camp.

Freshman tailback Justin Davis enjoyed perhaps the biggest breakout during the 15 spring workouts and parlayed that into a co-starter listing with senior Silas Redd and sophomore Tre Madden.

Redd, the Trojans’ leading rusher last season, was sidelined for most of spring practice following knee surgery. Madden, coming back from a season-ending knee injury suffered in 2012, participated but was not cleared for full contact.

Meantime, junior D.J. Morgan is listed as a reserve. Morgan sat out the final two weeks of workouts because of a knee injury.

Third-year sophomore Victor Blackwell caught seven passes for 155 yards and a touchdown in the spring scrimmage on Saturday. But freshman Darreus Rogers, who missed much of spring practice because of injuries, is listed ahead of Blackwell as receiver Marqise Lee’s back-up.

Kiffin uncharacteristically complimented the offensive line several times the last week of workouts, but at least one position apparently is up in the air--and it’s not left tackle, where junior Aundrey Walker struggled last season.

Redshirt freshman Chad Wheeler, who sat out most of spring practice after knee surgery, is listed as a co-starter with Graf.

On defense, junior Anthony Brown is a starter at one cornerback spot. Senior Torin Harris and sophomore Kevon Seymour are co-starters at the other spot.

Dion Bailey, a two-year starter at linebacker who did not participate in spring practice while recovering from shoulder surgery, is listed as a safety.
