Taylor was a member of the Triple Crown Line along with Marcel Dionne and Charlie Simmer and scored 112 points in the 1980-81 season.

He played for the Kings from 1977-94.

Several voters mentioned they would have placed Taylor higher if not for his lackluster stint as general manager of the team from 1997 to 2006.

On the Kings’ career list, Taylor is first in games (1,111), third in goals (431), third in assists (638) and third in points (1,069).
