No. 13 Oregon extends home winning streak to 25 games

Elgin Cook matched his career high with 26 points to lead No. 13 Oregon to an 86-73 victory over Washington on Sunday night.

Dillon Brooks added 19 points for the Ducks (23-6, 12-4 Pac-12), who won their 25th consecutive home game, extending the school record they set with Wednesday’s win over Washington State. Casey Benson and Jordan Bell each had 12 points.

Oregon finished its fifth unbeaten home season in history at 18-0, and its first since 2001-02 when it won its only Pac-12 regular-season title.

Andrew Andrews scored 16 of his 21 points in the second half to lead the Huskies (16-13, 8-9), and Dejounte Murray had 20.

at Colorado 79, Arizona State 69: Josh Fortune scored 17 points, Josh Scott had 15, and the Buffaloes pulled away in the late going to beat the Sun Devils.

Tre’Shaun Fletcher added 13 points, connecting on all three of his three-point tries, and George King finished with nine points, including a pair of three-pointers down the stretch for Colorado (21-9, 10-7).

Tra Holder had 16 points for Arizona State (14-15, 4-12), which could not avoid its fourth straight loss. Gerry Blakes added 15 points and Eric Jacobsen 14 for the Sun Devils.

at Oregon State 69, Washington State 49: Gary Payton II wore his father’s retired number and had 13 points, seven rebounds and eight assists to lead the Beavers past the Cougars.

Drew Eubanks added 13 points, nine rebounds and four blocks and Tres Tinkle scored 13 points for Oregon State (17-10, 8-8).

Payton usually wears No. 1, but on Sunday, he donned the jersey No. 20 worn by his father, former Oregon State and NBA great Gary Payton, who was in attendance.

Josh Hawkinson had 14 points and nine rebounds and Charles Callison scored 13 points for Washington State (9-20, 1-16), which has lost 15 in a row.
