Football: St. John Bosco, JSerra, Corona Centennial are top teams in Pac-5

It’s that time of the year where the Southern Section football polls start taking on added significance. They are used for playoff seedings, and this week, St. John Bosco is No. 1, JSerra No. 2, Corona Centennial No. 3 and Long Beach Poly No. 4 in the Pac-5 rankings.

If all four teams win their regular-season finales on Friday, that figures to be the top four seeds when pairings are announced on Sunday.
