Football: Loyola’s Nicholas Barr-Mira making a name for himself as a kicker

Sundays is always a big day for the Barr family. Anthony Barr, a former Loyola High and UCLA standout, plays for the Minnesota Vikings.

But his younger brother, Nicholas Barr-Mira, is a sophomore kicker for the Loyola junior varsity team making his own waves on the football field.

He has booted field goals of 49 and 50 yards this season. He’s also a goalie in soccer.
