Football: Calabasas gives Casey Clausen victory in coaching debut
Calabasas, a school where wins on the football field have been rare in recent years, picked up a 53-19 victory over Las Vegas Rancho in the debut of first-year Coach Casey Clausen, the former Oaks Christian assistant.
Tristan Gebbia completed nine of 15 passes for 341 yards and five touchdowns.
Jermani Brown caught five passes for 117 yards and two touchdowns.
It’s no surprise that Clausen and his brother, Rick, an assistant coach, have decided to pass the ball. Both are former Tennessee quarterbacks.
Next up is Burbank Burroughs.
