Boys’ basketball: Stanley Johnson is selected Gatorade state player of the year
Stanley Johnson of Santa Ana Mater Dei has been selected the Gatorade state player of the year.
He has led Mater Dei to a 33-0 record, averaging 25.1 points and 8.1 rebounds.
Mater Dei is one win away from playing for a fourth consecutive state championship.
