Dodgers notes: Zack Greinke update, Friday lineup
PHOENIX -- Zack Greinke was walking around the clubhouse without a limp Friday morning, but declined to provide an update on his right calf muscle.
“I have no more comments about my injury,” he said politely.
A day earlier, Greinke was removed from his first start of the exhibition season after throwing only four pitches. The Dodgers said Greinke sustained a mild calf strain.
Hyun-Jin Ryu will make his spring debut Friday, when the Dodgers face the Chicago White Sox at Camelback Ranch. Kenley Jansen, Brian Wilson, Chris Perez, J.P. Howell and Matt Magill are scheduled to pitch in relief.
Catcher A.J. Ellis, who was sidelined with the flu, will play his first spring game.
The Dodgers lineup:
Chone Figgins LF
Andre Ethier CF
Hanley Ramirez SS
Adrian Gonzalez 1B
Scott Van Slyke RF
A.J. Ellis C
Justin Turner 3B
Drew Butera DH
Alex Guerrero 2B
