Lady Gaga supports Cole Goforth, who wore ‘Gay Gay’ t-shirt
Lady Gaga is mad enough to tweet.
The “Poker Face” singer took to Twitter when she heard about Tennessee teen Cole Goforth, who was sent home from school Monday (April 5) for wearing a Lady Gaga t-shirt, reports Popeater.
The t-shirt, from Gaga’s Monster Ball tour, featuring the words “I (heart) Lady Gay Gay” on it was supposedly causing a “disruption.”
Here’s Lady Gaga’s response via Twitter to the incident:
“It reminds me of my commitment + love for u, and the deep unconditional devotion I feel to write music that will liberate you from prejudice.”
“Thank u for wearing your tee-shirt proud at school, you make me so proud, at the monsterball, you are an inspiration to us all. I love you.X”
“Been in the studio for days and hours of record after record and when i hear that a little monster was discriminated against* BY TEACHERS”
