Liyna Anwar

Liyna Anwar was the senior producer for podcasts at the Los Angeles Times. She previously produced for StoryCorps on NPR, where she traveled the country recording and producing audio profiles highlighting everyday people and their lives. Prior to that she worked at APM’s Marketplace, NPR’s “Weekend All Things Considered” and local affiliates KPCC and KCRW. An alumna of UCLA, she grew up in Southern California. Anwar died of leukemia March 26, 2020.
