To the editor: So, Nevada rancher Cliven Bundy can continue to graze his cattle on public land without paying the required grazing fees to the federal government that law-abiding cattle owners now pay. This, as a result of four judicial system failures. (“Judge dismisses case against Nevada rancher Cliven Bundy and his sons,” Jan. 8)

Even more appalling, he has a gun-toting, extremist “base” that supports this.

I kind of thought things were pretty good in the old days when people were honest and did not pull high-powered weapons on law enforcement agents. Now they even get away with it.

Is this what “Make America Great Again” is all about? I will still hold out hope that it is not, but what a culmination to an already frightening year.
