Love her or hate her. It often feels like there's no middle ground when it comes to Democratic presidential front-runner and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.
On Wednesday, Clinton gave a lengthy interview to the Los Angeles Times editorial board, as her campaign begins to pivot toward a general election runoff against Donald Trump. Among the many topics covered during the hourlong discussion were Clinton's negative ratings — among both Republicans and Democrats alike.
Times editorial page editor Nicholas Goldberg asked Clinton directly why adjectives like "secretive" and "slippery" seem to be routinely tossed in her direction from both sides of the political aisle, and what she had to say about them.
