Opinion: For the moment, change looks like neglect in South Los Angeles

A tide of change is currently swamping Crenshaw Boulevard in South Los Angeles. For now, the area gives the false impression of neglect. The weeds around the now boarded-up Marlton Square have grown taller, and the once thriving black-owned club Jerry’s Flying Fox, while shuttered, still stands.
