Letters: Amber Alert alarmists
Re “Amber Alert is wake-up call,” Aug. 7
A poor girl was kidnapped by a man who allegedly murdered her mother and brother and set her house on fire. When people got the Amber Alert of this horrific situation on their phones, some were merely annoyed because their phones made a loud noise.
More shocking than such heartlessness is that these people didn’t mind being quoted in the media.
