Video shows deer crashing through bus windshield in Pennsylvania
A deer crashed through the windshield of a public bus in western Pennsylvania and floundered around in panic and confusion before finally exiting.
The incident took place Tuesday about 6:30 p.m. on a Johnstown street and was recorded on a surveillance video from inside the bus. It was first reported by the Johnstown Tribune-Democrat newspaper, which covers the area about 65 miles east of Pittsburgh.
The white-tailed deer is seen on the video smashing through the windshield and trying valiantly, but futilely, to exit the way it came on board.
Then the deer is seen running in circles in an unoccupied section of the bus.
The driver quickly stopped the bus and opened the door, creating a path to freedom for the deer.
No injuries were reported.
The bus, however, was taken to the Cambria County maintenance facility to be repaired.
