Arnold Schwarzenegger, gym instructor in disguise

He’s one of the most recognizable people on the planet, with an accent that has inspired a million imitations, but with a little bit of facial hair, Arnold Schwarzenegger was able to roam around a Venice, Calif., Gold’s Gym largely undetected.

Disguised as the innocuous Howard Kleiner, a trainer with a penchant for offering heavily-accented fitness advice, Schwarzenegger was filmed roaming around the gym offering the sort of wisdom one would expect from the former governor of California:

“Remember, 75% of the body is water. Keep drinking because we haven’t finished yet with the water drinking. Remember, we do everything in reps, so you’ve done two reps of water drinking. Usually we do 10 reps of everything, so do another rep of water drinking.”

“You have elbows and you have knees. So touch them.”

“Stop being a baby. This is Gold’s Gym, this is not a baby gym.”

And, asking one of the burning questions of our time: “What does a key card mean?”

The stunt was staged for the After-School All-Stars program, which Schwarzenegger has been raising funds for, and is just the latest in a long line of his post-gubernatorial escapades.
