Wild horses in Nevada

Federal officials removed several wild mustangs from a Carson City, Nev., subdivision Wednesday despite residents’ efforts to keep them free. About two dozen residents of the subdivision, called Deer Run, say they have tried unsuccessfully to negotiate the fate of 11 mustangs with officials from the Bureau of Land Management.
