Grand Canyon visitor falls to his death from rim
A man who fell 350 feet to his death at the Grand Canyon on Saturday was from Texas, it was reported by CBS-TV out of Dallas-Fort Worth.
The man, John N. Anderson, 53, of Grapevine, Texas, fell at the canyon rim near the El Tovar Hotel in Arizona. Officials told the TV station that Anderson was visiting Grand Canyon National Park with his family.
The National Park Service, in coordination with the Coconino County (Ariz.) medical examiner, is investigating the incident.
