Reader Photo: Zip liners at sunset
Michael Kriskovic created this photo at the Call of Duty: XP Event held at the Howard Hughes Center in 2011. Activision, an American video game publisher, built a massive “gaming experience” in and around the 12-acre property.
Complete wth paintball arenas, zip lines, gaming zones and a concert by Kanye West, Kriskovic says it felt as though “a new sort of Disneyland” had been temporarily constructed in West Los Angeles.
“I was mesmerized watching the zip-liners fly by overhead,” he said. “It took many attempts but I finally managed to capture the moment as two passed by each other with the epic SoCal sunset for backlight.”
