L.A. police shoot man in Pico-Union
A man was shot Tuesday night near Pico Avenue and Bonnie Brae Street after plainclothes officers conducting surveillance saw a man with a gun, Los Angeles police said.
Authorities said a second suspect might have fled the scene after the shooting.
An LAPD representative had no immediate information on the condition of the man who was shot, but a KCAL-TV (Channel 9) helicopter reporter said from the scene that the man had died.
No other details were immediately available.
