Victim identified in Winnetka double homicide
The Los Angeles County coroner’s office Monday identified one of two people fatally shot in Winnetka over the weekend.
Jerrad Cardae Scott, 24, of La Mesa, was killed Sunday afternoon along with a 22-year-old woman from Los Angeles who has not been publicly identified, said L.A. County Coroner’s Lt. Fred Corral.
Police on Monday said they were searching for the woman’s ex-boyfriend and that no arrests had been made in the case.

Officers responded to a call of a report of an assault with a deadly weapon at about 4:30 p.m. at a residence in the 7600 block of Oso Avenue., said Officer Aareon Jefferson, a spokesman for the Los Angeles Police Department.
Inside, officers discovered the two victims with gunshot wounds. Both were declared dead at the scene, Jefferson said.
The investigation is ongoing.
