Two people were shot, one fatally, at a West Covina house party Friday night, police said.
Officers responded to a complaint of loud noise from a party at a house on the 800 block of East Michelle Street at 10:32 p.m., said West Covina Police Lt. Travis Tibbetts.
When they arrived, they encountered people running and saying shots had been fired, added Tibbetts.
The shooting victims were both male. One was taken to a hospital; the other was dead at the scene, said Tibbetts.
