Thunder, lightning, rain rattle parts of Southern California
Some coastal sections of Los Angeles and Orange counties got quite a show early Friday as a thunder and lightning storm moved onto land, bringing heavy showers.
National Weather Service radar showed pockets of thunderstorms moving northwest on the ocean and reaching land.
The radar showed thunderstorms touching down in Long Beach, Huntington Beach and surrounding areas.
The NWS said monsoonal moisture would bring a chance of showers through Friday.
